Whether it is processing or inspecting rubber rollers, there must be a standard, which mainly refers to geometric indicators such as surface pits, roundness deviation, diameter deviation, and deformation. The inspection methods include:
1. Direct sampling measurement
Use a spiral micrometer to randomly check the diameter, surface pits, and deformations of the rubber roller from place to place (such as one end being thick and one end being thin, etc.)
2、Indirect measurement
(1) Roll the rubber roller on the platform, place a light source on the opposite side, visually observe the light passing through, measure the pits, deformations (eccentricity, uneven diameters at both ends, etc.), and roundness errors.
(2) Install the rubber roller onto the machine, place it against a hard roller, and use a plug gauge or paper strip to detect the tight and loose areas, thereby detecting the dents, roundness, and deformation of the roller.
